Job summary

Helen Wilson Recruitment is seeking a Trade Execution Manager in Commodity Trading for our Pretoria client. The role coordinates day-to-day trading activities, ensures contracts are fulfilled, and liaises with traders and stakeholders to maintain records.

The successful candidate will lead a team of 6 Trade Execution personnel, manage contract lifecycle, and drive process improvements. Salary ranges from R40,000 to R50,000 per month, with pension inclusion and bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contracts and executions in the agriculture trading sector.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience leading a team of 6.
• Minimum National Senior Certificate; degree/diploma in related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounting software.
• Proficiency in AI-driven process improvements applicable to trading ops.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end contract administration from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate stock transfers and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain commodity movement data and reconcile contracts.
• Liaise with traders, clients and suppliers to resolve enquiries.
• Lead trade execution team and mentor staff.
• Identify process improvements to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
• Prepare financial reports and monitor contract status.
