Job summary

Africonology in Cape Town is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master for a 12-month contract within the Project Delivery Centre. You will coach a self-organising Agile team, facilitate ceremonies and protect the team from changing priorities to help deliver value on time and within budget.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders, remove impediments, and help the team improve velocity and quality in an insurance domain setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Scrum ceremonies and coaching Agile teams.
• Ability to remove impediments and manage stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Insurance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits Lean-Agile leadership and fosters Agile values within the team.
• Facilitates Agile ceremonies and shields the team from scope changes.
• Supports Product Owner and ensures alignment with delivery framework.
• Eliminates impediments and drives continuous improvement of flow and velocity.
• Partners with project/program management to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
