Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an experienced Scrum Master in Cape Town to ensure agile projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will guide teams, remove blockers, and foster a high-performing, self-organizing culture across multiple teams.

Your role includes coaching teams in Agile practices, facilitating sprint ceremonies, supporting Product Owners, and promoting transparency through metrics. A strong Scrum Master certification and a track record across industries are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification as Scrum Master (CSM/PSM CSP) required.
• Grade 12 completed.
• At least 5 years as Scrum Master across multiple teams.
• Experience applying Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional guidance to the team(s) and enable self-organizing delivery.
• Coach teams to effectively apply Agile practices.
• Self-facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
• Align to client frameworks and facilitate scaled Agile ceremonies.
• Coach ceremonies (Daily stand-up, demos, retrospectives, planning).
• Participate in PI Planning, Scrum-of-Scrums, Large Scale events and support multiple teams.
