CodeConnect Staffing in Johannesburg (Sandton) is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead complex technology projects in a banking environment. The role blends Agile delivery with structured governance while overseeing integration, migration and enterprise IT initiatives.

The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, drive Jira/Confluence workflows, and report risks and progress to senior stakeholders. Hybrid work model with a permanent contract is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven IT project delivery experience within banking or financial services.
• Strong Agile experience, including Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Experience delivering system integration, API, data migration or legacy modernisation projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules in Microsoft Project.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing project budgets and financials.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery across cross-functional technical teams.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Manage system integration, API and data migration workstreams.
• Maintain project plans and schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Manage sprint execution, dependencies and documentation through Jira and Confluence.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and technical dependencies.
• Provide clear progress and risk reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
• Mentor and support junior Agile Project Management resources.
