Qualifications

• Experience with children in school, aftercare or youth programs.
• Ability to plan age-appropriate activities for groups.
• Strong knowledge of safety and supervision for children.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with children, parents and staff.
• Availability to work afternoons in Centurion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children aged 6–12 after school, ensuring safety and well‑being.
• Assist children with homework completion and understanding.
• Plan, organise and lead engaging recreational activities, games and crafts.
• Manage group dynamics and encourage positive social interaction.
• Maintain a clean, child‑friendly aftercare environment.
• Communicate with parents about daily activities, progress and concerns.
• Adhere to school policies, safety protocols and emergency plans.
• Possibly assist with remote planning or administrative tasks.
