Job summary

Groupe CFAO is seeking an Aftermarket Sales Representative to grow the service network by promoting aftermarket offerings, parts, tyres, rental services and service contracts. You will manage existing clients and seek new business while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with safety standards.

Based in Upington, this full-time role requires strong product knowledge, sales drive and ability to coordinate with internal teams to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in aftermarket sales and customer relationship management.
• Knowledge of forklift parts, tyres and service offerings.
• Ability to plan and achieve sales targets.
• Strong communication and negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Aftermarket services, Parts, Accessories, Rental offerings, Service Contracts, Tyres, Driver Training, Load Testing and inhouse engineering.
• Grow sales, profitability and customer base within the assigned territory.
• Highlight product features based on customer needs and product capabilities.
• Maintain positive customer experience and NPS.
• Visit new customers to promote driver training and load testing for safe forklift operation.
• Quote prices, availability and onboarding processes; prepare invoices and submit orders.

Summary Statement:

The purpose of this position is to ensure the growth and achievement of after sales targets aligned with business objectives and targets.

To ensure growth of new business, managing and expanding existing client base through personal performance and customer relationship management.

• Promotion and selling of Aftermarket services, Parts, Accessories, Rental offerings, Service Contract offerings, Tyres, Driver Training, Load Testing and inhouse engineering.
• Overall responsibility to achieve sales, growth, and profitability targets in an assigned sales territory.
• Emphasise product features based on analyses of customer’s needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities.
• Managing a positive customer experience and NPS
• Targeting new business by visiting new customers to ensure safe operation of forklifts according to set standards and legal requirements by promoting Driver Training and load testing.
• Inform and resolve customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
• Quote prices, availability and onboarding process of customers.
• Prepare invoices for orders obtained and submit orders for processing.
• Assist with resolution of debtor’s disputes and assist with cash collections.
• Plan, prepare, submit, and ensure achievement of short-term and long-term rental targets for assigned territory.
• Preparation and presentation of reports as and when required.
• Participative responsibility to grow department in line with company requirements.
• Assist with Parts stock take exercises as and when required.
