Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Childcare Coordinator in Vereeniging to oversee our after-school program for school-aged children. You will plan daily activities, supervise staff, and maintain a safe, engaging environment outside school hours.

You'll lead program development, coordinate parent communications, ensure licensing compliance, and drive continuous improvement. A passion for youth development and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare management or related field, preferably with school-aged children.
• Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to create positive and stimulating activities for children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the after-school care program.

• Manage and provide guidance to a team of childcare staff, ensuring effective service delivery.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, program updates, and any concerns.
