Placements24 is seeking an organized Aftercare Supervisor to manage an after-school program in Port Elizabeth. You will supervise children, coordinate homework assistance, and run recreational activities in a safe, structured setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare, youth work, or education with school-aged children.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to plan and implement engaging activities.
• Excellent communication with children, parents, and colleagues.
• First aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during aftercare hours in a safe, structured environment.
• Assist with homework and provide academic support as needed.
• Plan and lead recreational and educational activities.
• Handle sign-in/sign-out procedures and communicate with parents about their child’s day.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the aftercare facility and materials.
