Job summary

First National Bank (FNB) in Cape Town seeks an Affluent Banking Advisor to support proactive management of affluent client portfolios, partnering with Private Bankers to deliver insightful analysis, conduct research, and ensure seamless execution of sales and service activities.

You will identify opportunities to onboard new clients and expand relationships, while maintaining governance and meeting financial targets within the Private Banking and Advisory Team.

Qualifications

• Relevant NQF7 Level Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Completed RE5 qualification.
• Have 2-3 years’ experience within a Sales/Service area of a banking/financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound services and recommendations based on customer needs, information, and trends.
• Compile reports that track progress and guide business decisions.
• Manage leads pipeline and support sales through portfolio analysis and client engagement.
• Assist with profit growth through acquisition of new clients and meeting financial targets.
• Identify opportunities to expand the customer base with creditworthy clients.
• Deliver high-quality advisory service and maintain governance and compliance requirements.
