Placements24 is seeking a highly competent Aerospace Systems Integration Specialist to join their engineering team in Klerksdorp, North West . This role focuses on planning, executing, and validating system integration activities across avionics, power, mechanical, and software subsystems.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in aerospace or related engineering, with at least 6 years in systems engineering or integration, and strong troubleshooting, test planning, and regulatory

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in systems engineering or integration, with a focus on aerospace applications.
• Proven experience in integrating complex systems, including hardware, software, and firmware components.
• Strong understanding of aerospace systems architecture, interfaces, and communication protocols.
• Proficiency in developing and executing test plans and procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with systems engineering tools and methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a project-driven environment.
• Familiarity with relevant aviation regulations and standards is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and execute system integration activities for new and existing aerospace platforms.
• Define integration requirements and interfaces between various subsystems, including avionics, power, mechanical, and software.
• Develop and implement detailed integration test plans and procedures.
• Oversee and participate in integration testing, troubleshooting, and validation processes.
• Identify and resolve system integration issues, ensuring compatibility and interoperability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure that designs are conducive to successful integration.
• Document integration processes, test results, and technical findings.
• Provide technical guidance and support to integration and testing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the integration lifecycle.
• Contribute to design reviews and provide recommendations for improving integration strategies.
