Job summary

Boxer Superstores is seeking an Advertising Coordinator to manage the company's promotions across multiple platforms. You will work with the Commercial and Fresh Departments to ensure brand consistency and impactful campaigns.

The role requires RMS knowledge and strong organizational skills to schedule photoshoots and manage advertising materials. The ideal candidate has Matric, a 3-year Marketing/Retail qualification, and 2 years’ experience in retail or FMCG with promotions.

Qualifications

• Matric is essential and a 3 year Diploma/Degree in Marketing or Retail is required.
• 2 years’ experience in a retail/FMCG environment with promotions, advertising and media is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Computers and BoMM system is a plus.
• Ability to communicate in Zulu/Xhosa/Sotho is essential for vernacular radio scripts.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee Boxer's promotional and advertisements across various platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the commercial and Fresh Departments.
• Understand RMS processes and ensure RMS is implemented successfully.
• Coordinate sign-offs, prepare headers, and manage promotional materials.
• Collect and analyse competitor leaflets and inform the marketing team with recommendations.
• Coordinate photoshoots and store visits; distribute leaflets and ensure timely delivery to Marketing.
