Job summary

VKB Group in Free State seeks an Admin Underwriting and Claims professional to join VKB Brokers in Vrede. You will handle underwriting and claims administration for Personal, Commercial, and Agrifarm clients within FAIS guidelines.

The role requires Grade 12 and NQF short-term insurance qualifications with RE5, strong numerical and accurate data handling, and the ability to work under pressure while coordinating with brokers and insurers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure instructions are processed and approved before month-end.
• Revise and monitor information received on instructions.
• Ensure renewals are done correctly and on time.
• Build reports with brokers, insurers, colleagues and managers.
• Manage the administrative function on CIMS.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints within FAIS framework.
• Complete product-specific training.
• Maintain CPD points per year.

Job Description

We are looking for an Admin Underwriting and Claims to join the VKB Brokers team in Vrede.

The ideal team player will be responsible for underwriting and claims administration of Personal-, Commercial- and Agri Short Term insurance.

Requirements

• Grade 12, Short Term Insurance NQF Level 4 or Higher Certificate Short Term Insurance NQF Level 5
• Regulatory Examination for Representatives (RE5)
• Previous insurance industry experience will serve as recommendation
• Good numerical skills
• Thorough, precise and exact

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that all instructions are processed and approved before the end of the month
• Revise and monitor relevant information received on instructions
• Ensure that all renewals are done correctly and on time
• Build report with relevant stakeholders (Brokers, Insurers, Colleagues and Managers)
• Overall management of the Administrative function on CIMS
• Resolution of customer queries and complaints within the FAIS Legislative framework
• Successfully complete Product Specific Training
• Ensure adequate CPD points per year, are obtained
