Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in addiction counselling.
• Degree or diploma in relevant field (Psychology, Social Work, Counselling).
• Registration or certification as a substance abuse counsellor is required.
• In-depth knowledge of addiction theory, recovery principles and treatment modalities.
• Excellent counselling, listening and empathy skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and coordinate with other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of substance abuse patterns.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counselling to clients.
