Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Actuarial student status with progress toward professional qualifications (e.g., SASA).
• 2–3 years of general insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pricing models for general insurance products.
• Perform reserving calculations and analyses.
• Conduct profitability studies and suggest underwriting improvements.
• Develop risk models to assess business impact.
• Prepare regulatory returns and actuarial reports.
• Support ad-hoc data analysis and research.
• Collaborate with underwriting, finance, product teams.
• Use Python, R, SQL, and ResQ for data work.
• Stay updated on actuarial trends and regs.
• Improve actuarial efficiency through process improvements.
