Job summary

JVR Software is seeking a detail-oriented financial administrator to support the Finance Director and the team. You will update receivables and payables, manage age analysis, process invoices, and prepare monthly management accounts and cash flow statements.

The role requires strong Excel and accounting knowledge, analytical skills with numbers, and the ability to handle cross-border tax processes for SA and USA. A proactive, organised candidate with initiative will thrive.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Financial Director and work with the team.
• Update accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Manage age analysis, invoice reconciliation and invoicing.
• Oversee debtors and creditors functions and reconcile payables.
• Prepare monthly and weekly reports, including age analysis.
• Request payments for approval.
• Process for SA companies using internal management system.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and cash flows.
• Assist preparation of annual management accounts for submission to accountants in the USA.
• Manage recoveries for USA and SA.
• VAT, report/reconcile and submit VAT201s (SA).
• Tax, assist processing USA tax payments.
• Ensure SA tax deadlines are met, prepare reports.
• Review ledgers for correct allocations.
• Work with the financial team across the organisation.

DUTIES

• Update accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Manage Age analysis/Invoices approved recon and issue invoices
