Job summary

Time Personnel is seeking a finance professional to support the Financial Director and the broader finance team. You will update accounts receivable and accounts payable, manage age analysis, and assist with monthly management accounts and intercompany tax processes.

The role requires a Matric with accounting qualifications, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to handle SA and USA tax compliance and audit support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Report to the Financial Director and work alongside the financial team.
• Update accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Manage age analysis and invoices; approve and issue invoices.
• Oversee debtors and creditors; reconcile and update payable ledgers.
• Prepare monthly and weekly reports, including age analyses.
• Request payments for approval; process for SA companies.
• Produce Monthly Management Accounts and cashflow statements.
• Assist preparation of annual management accounts for US accountants.
• Manage recoveries for USA and SA; VAT reporting and VAT201 submission (SA).
• Assist with USA tax payments and deadlines; support audits and responses.
• Review ledgers for correct allocations; collaborate across finance functions.

DUTIES

• Reporting to the Financial Director and working alongside his role and initiatives
• Update accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Manage Age analysis/Invoices approved recon and issue invoices
• Oversee debtors and creditors functions and update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Monthly and weekly reports, age analysis
• Request payments for approval
• Processing for SA companies, managing on internal management system
• Monthly Management Accounts and cashflows
• Assist preparation annual management accounts for submission to accountants in the USA
• Manage Recoveries and Quarterly recoveries for USA & SA
• VAT, Report/reconcile and submit VAT201’s = SA
• TAX, assist processing USA tax payments.
• Ensure SA companies tax deadlines are met, prepare reports.
• AUDIT, assist in all companies audit planning, preparation, audit queries.
• Review ledgers for correct allocations
• Working with the financial team in all areas required within the organisation
