Job summary

Communicate Finance in South Africa seeks an Account Manager to build strong client relationships, manage projects from initiation to delivery, and ensure every deliverable meets scope and timelines.

You'll collaborate with clients, CEOs, Directors, and internal teams to facilitate workshops, define requirements, and deliver innovative solutions that drive real business value. A hybrid setup and travel to client sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; ability to articulate client needs and translate into actionable requirements.
• Experience in client-facing roles with project responsibilities.
• Knowledge of the agricultural or farming industry is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts and project deliverables from initiation to closure.
• Lead workshops, process-mapping sessions, and scoping discussions with stakeholders.
• Define requirements and translate them into actionable project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams and client leaders to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.

As an Account Manager, you'll be in the driver's seat, building strong client relationships, managing projects from start to finish, and ensuring every deliverable reaches the finish line on time and within scope. You'll collaborate with clients, CEOs, Directors, and internal teams to facilitate workshops, define requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver innovative solutions that create real business value. Like a Formula 1 race strategist, you'll combine precision, communication, and problem-solving skills to keep projects moving at top speed and achieve podium-worthy results for every client.

Skills & Experience

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related business software.
• Strong planning, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience facilitating client workshops, process mapping, and scoping sessions.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to perform under pressure.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and travelling to client sites when required.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Agri-Business Management, Business Analysis, or an IT related degree.
• 1-2 years' experience in Account Management, Project Management, Business Analysis, or a related client-facing role.
• Experience managing client accounts and project deliverables is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the agricultural or farming industry would be beneficial but is not essential.
