Job summary

Teraco – A Digital Realty Company in Gauteng seeks a Data Centre Operations Leader for 24x7 uptime. You will liaison with clients, coordinate alarms and CCTV systems, and lead shift teams to ensure continuous availability. The role requires 2+ years in alarms/CCTV, PSIRA Grade A, and experience with Ajax/Secutel/Videofied. You must be able to work after hours and weekends and maintain incident logs.

Qualifications

• PSIRA Grade A certification is required.
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• 2+ years experience with alarms/CCTV Call Centre is advantageous.
• Knowledge of listener Monitoring platform.
• Experience with Ajax, Secutel and Videofied alarm systems.
• Experience in alarm and CCTV fault finding.
• Knowledge of response apps like CASI or Aura dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Client liaison and professional client relationship.
• Answer and action all incoming calls.
• Communicate with the client, technicians and management.
• Provide proactive support of alarms, CCTV communication, overactive and inactive reports.
• Assist admin with maintenance of database, zones, user etc.
• Adhere to all instructions by management.
• Ensure alarms and CCTV alarms are actioned per procedures.
• On-the-job training and personal development per policies.
• Standby on off days and after-hours shifts as scheduled.
