Job summary

Ctrack in Bloemfontein is looking for a Technician to support the installation, repair and maintenance of telematics devices. You will configure and troubleshoot devices installed in vehicles and ensure quality workmanship in every job.

The role requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience, Matric, and a valid driver’s license. Autotronics or Auto Electrical qualification is advantageous, with a commitment to safety and accurate administrative work.

Qualifications

• Autotronics or Auto Electrical Qualification or Experience would be an advantage.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-inspections in line with department/branch requirements.
• Installation, repair and servicing of units and company-approved products in line with policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and company policies; request training as needed.
• Complete administrative tasks as requested by management and use company systems.

Job description

We are looking for a Technician based in the Bloemfontein area.

About the Technician position

The role of a technician is vital to the efficient operation of our telematics devices. The technician will be tasked with the installation, repair, and maintenance of Ctrack units and other authorized products. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting devices installed within vehicles.

Main Job Functions:

1. Conducting all pre and post-inspections in line with department/branch requirements.
2. Installation, repair, and servicing of all units and company-approved products in line with company policies and procedures.
3. Ensuring compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and all Company Policies and Procedures. Request training from the HR Team if there are any concerns.
4. Completing any administrative tasks as requested by management and making use of the various systems required by the company.
