Profile Personnel is seeking a Tracking Technician in East London, Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will install and maintain vehicle tracking and telematics systems, ensuring compliance with installation standards. Candidates must be willing to undergo technical training in Durban and hold a valid South African driver's licence.

This role requires a technical or electrical qualification, basic knowledge of vehicle electronics, and a strong customer service orientation. Applicants with experience in the tracking industry are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Basic knowledge of motor vehicle electronics, specifically 12V and 24V DC systems.
• Willingness to attend technical training in Durban.

Responsibilities

• Install vehicle tracking units, telematics devices, and associated hardware in vehicles.
• Perform electrical connections to vehicle systems operating on 12V and 24V DC.
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting on tracking devices.
• Test installed equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Complete installation documentation and service reports.
• Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Provide professional service and support to customers.
• Adhere to company health and safety standards.
• Travel to customer sites for installations and support.
