Job summary

Managed People Solutions offers an extraordinary learnership programme in Wholesale & Retail Operations for unemployed youth in South Africa. This opportunity provides candidates the chance to earn a National Certificate (NQF Level 2) while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the retail sector. Participants, aged between 18 and 28, will work in the Merchandising Department over a 12-month period, with a monthly stipend of R3,500. Candidates must have completed their Matric and be eager to learn and grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Aged between 18 and 28 years.
• Completed National Senior Certificate (Matric).
• No prior work experience required.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock to be merchandised.
• Draw stock requirements.
• Check product quality, vintage, shelf life, stock rotation, and price tags.
• Execute merchandising activities as per cycle brief.
• Provide feedback on customer complaints, queries, and requests.
• Communicate and maintain knowledge of products and promotions.
• Accurately record merchandising activities.
• Execute store calls as per call cycle.
• Advise RSM on out-of-stock products.
