Job summary

Managed People Solutions invites motivated and eager individuals to apply for a Wholesale & Retail Operations Learnership Programme in South Africa. This unique opportunity offers participants a National Certificate in Wholesale and Retail Operations (NQF Level 2) while providing hands-on experience in the retail sector over a period of 12 months.

Successful candidates will work in the Merchandising Department, executing various responsibilities from stock management to customer service. Candidates aged 18-28 with a Matric are encouraged to apply.

A monthly stipend of R3,500 is offered, starting from 01 June 2026.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock to be merchandised.

Key responsibilities

• Determine stock to be merchandised
• Draw stock requirements
• Check product quality, vintage, shelf life, stock rotation, and price tags
• Execute merchandising activities as per cycle brief
• Provide feedback on customer complaints, queries, and requests
• Communicate and maintain knowledge of products and promotions
• Accurately record merchandising activities
• Execute store calls as per call cycle
• Advise RSM on out-of-stock products

Requirements

• Aged between 18 and 28 years
• Completed National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• No prior work experience required
• Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment
• Based in Delft or surrounding areas
