This role offers the opportunity to shape user-centered digital experiences in a dynamic, high-regulation environment. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, QA, and business teams to design intuitive, secure, and elegant interfaces across multiple platforms, including mobile applications and support channels. The position emphasizes hands‑on design work, usability testing, and translating complex requirements into adaptive solutions while maintaining compliance with regulatory, technical, and brand guidelines. You will influence design decisions, contribute to research, and help optimize the overall customer experience. The role also requires effective cross‑functional collaboration, strong communication skills, and a balance between creativity and practical execution in a fully remote setting.
Accountabilities
- Design intuitive, secure, and accessible user flows for key journeys across mobile apps and support channels
- Create high‑fidelity prototypes and conduct usability tests to validate solutions and ensure task success
- Map user journeys, happy paths, edge cases, and touchpoints to optimize overall user experience
- Translate diverse user needs into adaptive and consistent experiences aligned with the design system
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, and stakeholders to define priorities and scope
- Conduct user research, analyze findings, and provide actionable recommendations
- Partner with legal, security, and compliance teams to ensure requirements are met without compromising usability
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX/UI designer, ideally in fintech, banking, or high‑regulation industries
- Proficiency with Figma (Design System, prototyping, UI kits), FigJam, UXCam, and Dovetail
- Strong UX writing, communication, and collaboration skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to navigate complex requirements while balancing user needs with regulatory and technical constraints
- Hands‑on experience in designing secure, user‑centered interfaces with a strategic mindset
- Curious, organized, empathetic, and able to prioritize effectively in ambiguous and changing contexts
- Experience conducting usability testing and synthesizing research into actionable insights
