Veta Virtual is seeking a Senior WordPress Support Developer to maintain and optimize a portfolio of live client websites for a Canada-based agency. The role emphasizes fast, reliable updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring top performance across CMS platforms.

You'll handle bug fixes, content updates, backups, and schema/SEO improvements, coordinating with teams across LATAM and Europe in a fully remote setting.

Formación

• 2–4+ years of WordPress experience and website maintenance.
• Experience across multiple CMS platforms (WordPress required; Duda, Squarespace, Divi is a plus).
• Strong understanding of troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Familiarity with technical SEO concepts (site speed, schema, indexing).
• Experience setting up staging environments and managing backups.
• Comfortable with hosting environments and server-side checks.
• Experience handling task-based or ticket-based workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple small tasks.
• Excellent written English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and improve a portfolio of live client websites.
• Handle ongoing website support tasks: bug fixes, broken links, styling, layout adjustments.
• Update and maintain pages, posts, and landing pages across sites.
• Set up and manage staging environments for testing.
• Ensure daily backups are configured and functioning.
• Update themes, plugins, and CMS components.
• Implement updates to footers, forms, and page elements.
• Troubleshoot site speed, responsiveness, and performance.
• Implement and validate schema markup and technical SEO improvements.
• Monitor overall website health and resolve issues.
• Support integrations across forms, CRMs, and external tools.
• Communicate updates and timelines with internal teams.
• Document recurring issues and solutions to improve efficiency.
• Take on other website support responsibilities as they arise.
