Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior Master Electrician to base at US Embassy sites in Caracas, Venezuela, supporting the DiPSS Venezuela BLS contract for the US Department of State. The role emphasizes operation and maintenance of power distribution systems, safety, and effective reporting.

The candidate will diagnose faults, perform condition assessments, and assist in SOW development while ensuring OSHA and NEC standards. A Secret US Government Clearance is required for deployment.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in operations and maintenance services.
• Seven years of experience as a Master Electrician.
• Experience with EPR, XLP, and multi-conductor cables.
• Experience with 600 A bolted connections; 200 A load-break terminations and heat shrink & cold shrink applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and ensure safety is the highest priority.
• Comply with Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.
• Interpret diagrams and manuals to diagnose faults.
• Report malfunctions to the Operations and Maintenance Manager.
• Perform condition assessments on transformers, insulation, switches, and panels.
• Develop SOWs ensuring OSHA/NEC compliance and provide diagrams/specifications.
