Job summary

The Senior Master Electrician will be based at Amentum sites at the US Embassy in Caracas, supporting the DiPSS Venezuela BLS contract for the US Department of State. The role centers on operation and maintenance of electric power and distribution equipment and reports to the Electrician Supervisor.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, adherence to EH&S and QA requirements, interpreting diagrams, performing inspections, condition assessments, and assisting in SOW development in line with

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in operations and maintenance services.
• Seven (7) years’ experience as a Master Electrician.
• Experience with electrical safety, OSHA and NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe workplace with safety as priority.
• Comply with Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements.
• Interpret diagrams to diagnose faults.
• Report malfunctions to Operations and Maintenance Manager.
• Perform inspections and prepare reports.
• Conduct condition assessments on transformers, insulation, switches, and panels.
• Assist in developing SOW with diagrams and specs per OSHA/NEC.
