Prosper CFO is seeking a Controller to act as the financial backbone for a portfolio of clients. You will lead the close process, enforce rigor, and ensure accurate, timely, decision-ready financials.

You’ll collaborate with fractional CFOs, client leadership, and internal staff to elevate accounting from back-office to a strategic asset. You will drive change through system implementations, new processes, automations, tighter controls, and audit readiness across environments.

Formación

• 5+ years of accounting experience with 2+ years in a managerial or client-facing role.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Strong GAAP accounting, reporting, and internal controls knowledge.
• Experience with SAGE Intacct and QuickBooks Online.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills with team mentoring ability.
• Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary financial advisor for multiple clients.
• Oversee and manage a team of accountants with timely, compliant reporting.
• Identify and streamline complex financial processes.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings with GAAP adherence.
