Ebury seeks a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Platform Engineering team and own the Analytics Platform. The role emphasizes building scalable analytics workflows using Sigma, dbt, and BigQuery, enabling trusted insights for analysts across the organization.

You will lead SDLC for analytics, promote self-service data, and collaborate with teams to optimize data governance, cost, and performance while mentoring analysts in modern analytics practices.

Formación

• Strong SQL and Python for tooling/automation.
• Experience with analytics platforms and data governance.
• Hands-on with modern BI tools and data modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve Ebury's analytics platform end-to-end, with Sigma as core BI tool and governance.
• Define and manage SDLC for analyst workflows across dbt and BigQuery: standards, testing, CI/CD, releases.
• Build frameworks and guardrails for self-service analytics with discoverable, documented datasets.
• Champion metrics consistency across warehouse, semantic models and BI layer.
• Support and upskill the Data Analyst community in analytics-engineering practices.
• Provide observability for data products: usage analytics, freshness, data quality signals, and cost/performance optimization of BI workloads on BigQuery.
• Collaborate with Data Platform team to deliver a coherent platform experience across data domains.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating BI tooling and best practices.
