Ebury, a fintech leader, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team. Based in Madrid with a hybrid setup (4 days in office, 1 day remote), you will help build and maintain a scalable data platform used across the company, including Valencia Office involvement.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, champion data governance, and explore new technologies and architectures, such as data warehouses and lakes, to deliver robust data solutions.

Formación

• Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets.
• Data modelling skills including slowly changing dimensions.
• Experience with graph database modelling.
• Experience with data warehousing and data lakes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP) and scalable data solutions.
• English fluency; Spanish a plus.
• Hands-on with designing data platforms at scale.

Ebury's strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data team and we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team! Our mission is to develop maintain and improve Ebury's Data Platform with a focus on building scalable, robust, and innovative frameworks. As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will work closely with the rest of the team to help develop and improve the Data Platform.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of a robust data platform to beconsumed across the company
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionableinsights
• Drive innovation and explore emerging technologies to enhance our data capabilities
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data qualityand security

About you:

• Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets, as well as experienceworking with structured and unstructured data sources
• Data engineering and modelling skills such as slowly changing dimensions anddimensional modelling
• Graph database modelling encouraged
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, includingdesigning and implementing data solutions at scale
• Self-motivation and curiosity, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-pacedenvironment, continuously improving both technical and business skills
• Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) tools and services, such as BigQuery,Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions
• Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)
