Job summary

HoopStars is a Toronto-based youth basketball business seeking a hands-on General Manager to own the business, marketing, ecommerce and profitability. You will lead HoopStars and build the parent Community Sports Partners marketing team across brands, with LATAM remote work and potential relocation to the US or Canada by mutual agreement.

You will drive paid acquisition, improve conversion, increase repeat enrollments and manage budgets, performance reporting and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven results in paid acquisition, conversion and retention.
• Experience driving profitability beyond a marketing budget.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives, agencies or contractors.
• Ability to translate ecommerce methods to a service business with delivery commitments.
• Strong English communication and effective remote leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own HoopStars business plan, budget, revenue and profitability.
• Lead sales and operations; ensure service quality keeps pace with demand.
• Drive digital growth across paid search, social, landing pages and funnels.
• Build and lead the parent marketing team across brands.
• Establish disciplined budgeting, reporting and testing to optimize marketing investment.
