Job summary

Flowserve de Venezuela C.C.A. is seeking a Precision Assembler to prepare and assemble equipment per drawings and work orders, and perform functional testing. You will disassemble and reassemble during repairs, inspect with precision tools, and ensure parts meet specifications in a fast-paced facility.

You will read blueprints, maintain documentation, and communicate clearly with peers and customers, upholding Flowserve safety and quality standards while supporting overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Workshop experience preferred.
• Knowledge of automation control and electrical components.
• Experience as a mechanic for rotating machines or mechanical devices.
• HS Diploma / GED or equivalent with up to 2 years relevant experience.
• General certificate of education or vocational training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble per drawings and work orders, performing testing when required.
• Demonstrates advanced inspection equipment knowledge to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Ensure parts are clean prior to assembly and follow assembly procedures.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Operate precision measuring tools (micrometers, vernier, CMM) and hand tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assembly.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings; write routine reports.
• Demonstrate customer-service mindset for on-time delivery and quality workmanship.
• Capable of basic math, rate, ratio, and unit conversions.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required on short notice.
