Job summary

Flowserve de Venezuela C.C.A. is seeking a QA Engineer to support the development, implementation, and operation of Quality Control programs in Barcelona, Venezuela. The role is 100% onsite and involves translating customer specs into product criteria and creating control plans to meet requirements.

You will lead quality initiatives, coordinate inspections, analyze data, and collaborate with production, customers, and suppliers to prevent defects and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Industrial Engineering background required.
• Experience with PFMEA and QC teams preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Implementation and monitoring of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015).
• Coordinate random inspections to evaluate process quality.
• Coordinate analysis to determine preventive actions to reduce defects or improve processes.
• Issuance of reports/metrics of QC indicators.
• Lead interdepartmental groups and address KPI-related issues.
• Coordinate with production for inbound and production checks.
• Manage relations with customers or third-party inspectors.
• Participate in supplier quality testing and audits.
• Dimensional inspection of parts and pumps; generate dimensional reports.
• Maintain NCR documentation and close reports; manage QC dossier.
• Create inspection plans for incoming/outgoing parts; generate photographic release reports.
• Validate quality information in production documents; participate in CI events.
• Manage customer witness inspections; provide data to management.
