Overview
The BC Practice Manager will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, maintaining high levels of employee satisfaction, and contributing to the growth of our organization. This role will uphold the gold standard of customer satisfaction on their assigned projects, drive forward their functional portion of the practice, manage their team, and collaborate with the other Practice Managers to maintain and improve the overall health of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Practice Success: Assist the Practice Director with identifying and driving strategic changes
- Drive customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and company profitability by monitoring and reacting to changes in KPIs
- Assist in creating annual OKRs and driving achievement of those OKRs
- Maintain Project Health: Uphold the gold standard of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Project Managers to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure exceptional project delivery
- Monitor project status and ensure timely and quality delivery
- When needed, assist in resolving escalations including designing “get to green” plans, negotiating financial impacts, and gaining customer’s trust and confidence
- Client Management: Develop a strong relationship with clients on assigned projects
- Assist with handling escalated client issues ensuring client satisfaction
- Team Management: Oversee leads, driving their engagement and success through performance management and career path discussions
- Coach leads to effectively manage resources
- Manage employee satisfaction issues and address concerns promptly
- Evaluate skillsets within the team and identify areas of need and improvement and foresee team expansion needs
- Drive team meetings in coordination with the rest of the Leadership Team that allows for communication of relevant company information
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of standardized processes and expectations to help the department and project run smoothly and efficiently
- Identify and pursue areas to improve process methodology
- Support Sales Processes: Provide ad hoc assistance with presales engagements
- Assist in quoting and reviewing estimating worksheets and Statements of Work (SOW)
- Interact with prospects, answering questions and explaining our methodology
Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in BC project implementations
- Proven experience in practice management or a similar role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Excellent mentoring and coaching skills
- A passion for sharing the BC solution with customers, presenting with confidence and navigating difficult conversations when customer desires and ideal systems aren’t aligned
- Ability to manage conflict and solve problems efficiently
- An understanding of the importance of change management and ensuring everything is on point
- Strong Project Management Experience with an emphasis in project methodologies
