Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering in transportation engineering to begin Fall 2027.

The successful candidate will lead in developing the BS Civil Engineering program, including curriculum refinement and teaching undergraduate courses, and will build a research program in transportation engineering while mentoring students.

Formación

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering is required; ABD considered if degree is conferred by appointment time.
• Strong research record with journal publications in civil engineering.
• Experience or interest in transportation/traffic engineering and teaching.

Responsabilidades

• Lead curriculum development and refinement of the BS Civil Engineering program.
• Teach undergraduate engineering courses and mentor students.
• Develop a research program in transportation engineering and contribute to graduate program growth (MS/PhD).
• Collaborate with industry and advisory committees to align program with workforce needs.
