Job summary

Zuven technologies Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst to serve in the Threat Mitigation Team within the CSOC.

You will administer Zscaler Cloud security platforms (ZIA, ZPA, Cloud Firewall, ATP, SSL inspection, Browser Isolation) and drive policy governance to protect enterprise users, apps, and data while ensuring a seamless user experience. The role combines technical administration, security operations, troubleshooting, and continuous service improvement to support a secure and resilient SASE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 3 to years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or security operations.
• Hands-on experience administering Zscaler platforms.
• Experience implementing and managing security policies in cloud-delivered security environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale networking and security technologies.
• Relevant Information Security certifications, or the ability to obtain CISSP, ZCCA, ZCCP, AWS Certified Security, or other cloud specialty certifications.
• Demonstrates good communication skills, analytical ability, judgment, and the ability to work effectively with others.
• Demonstrates the ability to understand strategic objectives and vision, and work towards those goals.
• Ability to remain calm and professional while working in a high-pressure incident situation.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and maintain Zscaler Cloud security platforms, including ZIA, ZPA, Cloud Firewall, ATP, SSL inspection services, Browser Isolation and Sandbox services.
• Design, implement and maintain the security policies used in the platform, including handling policy change requests and periodic reviews.
• Independently assist and respond to escalated operational or security incidents with Incident Response teams.
• Represent CSOC in partnership with GR&S, ES&F, IT and business on security initiatives and projects.
• Perform analysis on logs, traffic flows and other data to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop ad-hoc reports for management requiring in-depth analysis.
• Collaborate with cyber crew members on research projects involving event analysis.
• Identify real-time attack patterns and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior team members to improve technical acumen.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
