Job summary

Avancer Corporation seeks a ZScaler SME in Dallas, TX (also supporting Charlotte, NC and Malvern, PA). You will serve as a technical subject matter expert to the CSOC, administering and improving Zscaler cloud security platforms including ZIA, ZPA, Cloud Firewall, ATP, SSL inspection, and related capabilities.

The role collaborates with Networking, Infrastructure, Endpoint Management, and Business Applications teams to implement and maintain security controls, ensuring a seamless user experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity or security operations experience.
• Hands-on experience administering Zscaler platforms.
• Experience implementing and managing security policies in cloud-delivered security environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale networking and security technologies.
• Certifications such as CISSP, ZCCA, ZCCP, AWS Certified Security or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and maintain Zscaler Cloud security platforms (ZIA, ZPA, Cloud Firewall, ATP, SSL inspection, Browser Isolation, Sandbox).
• Design, implement and maintain security policies in the platform and handle policy change requests.
• Respond to escalated incidents with Incident Response teams during investigations or troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with CSOC, GR&S, ES&F, IT and business on security initiatives.
• Analyze data sets to identify threats and vulnerabilities; generate ad-hoc reports.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and participate in special projects.
