Job summary

Abilene Zoo is seeking an entry level Guest Services Assistant to provide friendly customer service and support in a busy visitor setting. You will greet guests, answer questions, and direct traffic while supporting managers with administrative tasks and ticketing processes.

The role requires basic math, cash handling, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends in outdoor conditions. Prior experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors to the Abilene Zoo and answer general questions.
• Provide administrative support to Guest Service Managers and Assistants.
• Assist with guest inquiries, directions, and information about zoo functions and activities.
• Process calls, payments, reservations, and visitation paperwork; operate equipment and assist with food preparation.
