Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Four years’ experience in maintenance or construction preferred; technical college certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and construction work on zoo facilities and exhibits.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and hydraulic systems.
• Weld and fabricate structures and fixtures as needed.
• Collaborate on safety-focused design and project plans for animal care areas.
• Support special event setup, rotation staffing, and snow removal as required.
