Job summary

The Town of Hartford, VT seeks a Zoning Administrative Officer to interpret, administer, and enforce Hartford’s land use regulations, including zoning, subdivision, flood zone, and sign ordinances.

The ZA is the main contact for land development permits, and supports Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment, and Design Review Committee, reporting to the Director of Planning and Development.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting and enforcing zoning and land use regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with Planning Commission, ZBA and Design Review Committee.
