The Jackson Township Board of Trustees is hiring a full-time Zoning Investigator in the Zoning Department. The role includes field inspections to verify compliance with the zoning resolution, handling zoning and nuisance complaints, and meeting with property owners to resolve issues.

You will also process zoning permits and perform other duties as assigned by the Zoning Inspector. Applicants must be a US citizen 18+, have a high school diploma, and possess basic knowledge of local government.

The Jackson Township Board of Trustees is accepting applications for the position of full-time Zoning Investigator in the Zoning Department. This position is responsible for performing zoning duties, including field inspections to verify compliance with the zoning resolution; investigating zoning and nuisance complaints; meeting with property owners to resolve compliance issues; process zoning permits; perform all other duties as assigned by the Zoning Inspector.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Applicants must be a United States citizen and eighteen (18) years of age;
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent;
• Basic knowledge of local government and Township principles.
• Zoning experience is not required but preferred.
