Job summary

Loudoun County Government seeks a Planning Technician on the Zoning Enforcement team within the Department of Planning & Zoning. This role provides administrative, technical, and coordination support to enforce zoning regulations and ensure efficient operations.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma with four years of related government experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. After a training period, two days of telework per week are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process and verify zoning complaints to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor cases in LEx and LandMARC as needed.
• Support onboarding activities for new hires.
• Manage personnel certifications.
• Coordinate staff travel and training logistics.
• Serve as vehicle coordinator for the division.
• Act as office automation coordinator.
• Conduct research and data entry.
• Maintain case files and archives; perform additional duties as assigned.
