The Loudoun County Department of Planning & Zoning seeks a qualified professional for the position of Planning Technician on the Zoning Enforcement team in the Department of Planning & Zoning. This role supports the division by performing a variety of administrative, technical, and coordination tasks essential to efficient zoning enforcement operations.
The hiring salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience.
High school diploma and four (4) years of related work experience in a government setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in Planning, Urban Studies, Zoning, Historic Preservation, Business or Public Administration is preferred.
This position requires a criminal background, valid driver's license and driving record check. After a training period, this position is eligible for two days of telework per week.
