Job summary

Lehi City’s Community Development Department seeks a Code Compliance Specialist to manage responses to ordinance violations. You will coordinate inspections, document cases, and guide enforcement actions to ensure zoning and nuisance regulations are followed.

You will work under the Community Development Director, review permits, meet property owners, and participate in field investigations using city vehicles. A valid Utah driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of responsible experience in code enforcement, inspection, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to code violation complaints via phone, email, and field observations.
• Inspect properties to assess compliance with zoning, building, sign, weed, housing, and nuisance codes.
• Prepare and deliver notices of violation, warnings, citations, and correction orders.
