Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Utah as a Combination Inspector with ICC Residential and Commercial certifications.
• Minimum five years of field inspections or six years in related construction work.
• Graduation from high school or GED.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor inspectors on code enforcement and plans review.
• Inspect buildings and plans for compliance with codes and ordinances; discuss ordinances with owners and contractors.
• Issue permits for building, plumbing, electrical, and other construction phases; perform on-site inspections for compliance.
