Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of private practice or government experience, is admitted in New York or eligible, and possesses strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in private practice and/or government.
• Strong experience interpreting the NYC Zoning Resolution and related land use regulations.
• Experience conducting zoning analyses and zoning due diligence.
• Experience advising clients on development and land use matters.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Admitted to practice in New York (or eligible for admission).
• Nice to have: experience handling zoning and land use applications; exposure to discretionary land use approvals (rezonings, variances, special permits, environmental review); development rights transactions; familiarity appearing before NYC governmental agencies.
