Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience coordinating time-sensitive freight flow or sequencing in high-volume logistics.
• Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret shipment data, schedules, and capacity information.
• Experience using freight-tracking, warehouse, scanning, or similar systems; proficient with Excel.
• Clear communication and coordination across internal and external partners.
• Ability to lead through influence and process ownership without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own nightly zone-skip execution, adjusting freight plans as conditions change to protect service windows.
• Plan and sequence freight using sort codes, destination requirements, and schedules.
• Communicate requirements to third-party carriers and coordinate operational exceptions.
• Use scanning and checks to ensure correct routing and loading of outbound movements.
• Identify and resolve misrouted or unidentified freight and processing exceptions.
• Prepare and distribute routine reporting on inbound/outbound times, release performance, and capacity.
