Qualifications

• Knowledge of the LTL/ Transportation Industry.
• Has managed Drivers and Dockworkers.
• Knowledge of the surrounding geographical area to the Service Center.

Responsibilities

• Compile production and service records and measure conformance to standards.
• Inspect and measure performance of personnel resulting in changes in work practices.
• Review logs and reports with shift personnel to ascertain scheduling and support requirements.
• Set up appointment freight deliveries.
• Assist with billing, rating, manifesting and analysis of freight.
• Maintain excellent communication with customers.
• Assist with training, evaluation and documentation of personnel performance.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train Service Center personnel.
• Ensure that Service Center premises are protected and maintained.
• Assist in the investigation and reporting of accidents.
• Understand and apply company safety practices.
• Facilitate information meetings with team members.
• Handle special assignments as directed.
