Job summary

Subaru of America seeks a Zone Retailer Development Manager to lead retailer performance and planning across the zone. You will partner with RVP, ZD, and district teams to select, launch, and improve dealers, ensuring strong financial results and compliant programs.

The role requires 10–12 years of experience in retail development, a BA/BS, and a proven track record in financial analysis, negotiation, and change leadership. Significant travel (70%) is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10–12 years of experience.
• Ability to review, interpret, and analyze retailer financial statements and records (iEXAM & Oracle BI).
• Highly organized with strong time management.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify top retailer candidates with capital, suitable facilities, and experienced management.
• Upgrade or replace underperforming retailers through buy/sells or improvements.
• Develop retailer improvement plans with Facility Funding Programs.
• Coordinate document gathering for Subaru of America approval.
• Monitor and improve district financial results; track progress via PFS.
• Maintain paper trails for potential legal actions and documentation.
• Lead retailer launches with marketing, inventory, and program alignment.
• Ensure Zone Retailer Sales & Service Agreements are current.
