Job summary

Avon Protection in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Production Line Leader to manage a manufacturing line on the 3rd shift with a $2.00 differential.

You will balance hands-on equipment operation with coaching, scheduling, and problem-solving to meet safety, quality, and production targets. Collaboration with operators, technicians, and supervisors is essential to drive continuous improvement and keep production flowing efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly.
• Experience operating and monitoring production equipment such as line machinery, CNC equipment, or injection molding presses.
• Ability to lead and coach others, read specifications, and communicate with leadership.
• Willing to work assigned shifts, including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production scheduling, shift coverage, and communication of run status.
• Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Lead structured troubleshooting, apply root-cause analysis, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams.
• Drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives, lean practices, and waste reduction.
• Promote safety, ensure SOP compliance, and maintain audit-ready work areas.
• Document production logs, report progress to management, and participate in cross-functional reviews.
