Job summary

Denali Park Adventures is hiring to manage our zipline site during operating hours. You will ensure smooth tours, maintain safety standards, and communicate with sales and shuttle teams.

This role requires leadership, hands-on site maintenance, and a proactive approach to risk management. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in guest service and zipline or challenge course experience, a clean MVR, and the ability to lead a team in Alaska’s demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years managing in fast-paced, guest service atmosphere.
• Minimum 5 years working in customer service.
• Minimum 5 years working in the zipline / challenge course industry.
• Clean MVR.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work on feet up to 11 hours.
• Flexible scheduling and safety-first mindset.
• Calm, clear thinking in high-stress situations.
• Ability to develop and maintain a positive team.
• Proactive in weather-impacted operations and course maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; CPR/First Aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager with necessary tasks and staff oversight.
• Oversee staff, coach and manage performance.
• Delegate work to Assistant Course Manager.
• Assist in periodic course inspections.
• Care and maintenance of zipline course and equipment.
• Plan and execute pre-season staff training.
• Coordinate pre-season opening and post-season shutdowns.
• Assist with risk management and safety policy updates.
• Support equipment purchases and staff evaluations.
• Support social media efforts for the company.
• Track staff training hours and safety records weekly.
• Maintain equipment inspection system and grounds.
• Attend weekly MGMT meetings and plan staff communications.
• Assist with special events and supplies reordering.
• Oversee housing management and related operations.
